Not only do I love writing a beauty blog, I love reading them. Bloglovin’ is a permanent fixture on my tabs bar, always eager to distract me from my day’s work. My ‘Following’ list has grown to be fairly lengthy, however there are a few old and new favourites that always get me clicking when they pop up on my feed…
Tine’s engaging, chatty beauty blog was one of the first I started reading, and she’s had me hooked ever since. The big, beautiful photos and her witty style drew me in, but it’s the spot-on recommendations and generous blogging advice that has kept me coming back. It was here I discovered the beauty that is Ellis Faas Hot Lips, picked up some very valuable tips and tricks on Bloggie Wednesdays, and formed my infatuation with Popbasic.

A wealth of practical beauty tips and tricks here from a variety of bloggers and collaborators, wrapped up in a funky, vibrant design, topped off with an engaging and witty writing style. XOVain is of those time-thief blogs that sucks you in with one post, then three hours later all of a sudden you will find yourself in the depths of the archives, wondering why it’s now dark outside, you’re starving and your eyeballs ache. This is a veritable beauty encyclopedia, answering all your pertinent beauty queries; there are tips for treating and covering problem skin (the XOVain vs Acne series is well worth a gander), how to master the fishtail, and how an electric toothbrush can transform your nails.

Make sure you check out Sarah’s super-useful blogging tips series, which has had me get my notebook out and thinking cap on.

Kate’s dreamy photos just crying out to be pinned are my biggest attraction to this Glasgow-dweller’s blog, but what keeps me coming back is her on-point makeup choices, easy tutorials and drool-worthy skincare collection. It was here I discovered my beloved Pai Biogenerate Rosehip Oil, and for that I am ever-grateful. I also always make time for her new videos when they pop up on my Youtube subscription feed.
